EIC Codes

Clear rules and coordinated designations are needed for a uniform, electronic data exchange between the various parties involved. To ensure this, ETSO has developed the uniform Energy Identification Code (EIC) marking system. This identification system is used for:

  • timetable processing based on the ETSO Scheduling System (ESS)
  • the data exchange (measurement data and change processes) according to SDAT-CH
